Measurable Outcomes and Project Deliverables Related to Systemic Transformational Change

 

 

This grant proposal is grounded in the following measurable outcomes that we strongly think will lead to systemic change:

 

• Students will have a voice and input in the content of their instruction at WMU

• Students will gain an understanding of and value diverse perspectives as part of their academic experiences at WMU

• Increasing students’ recruitment, retention and success by engaging them in the learning process and centering/grounding the curriculum in their life experiences

• WMU administrators will gain an understanding of the importance of incorporating multicultural curricula at WMU

• Faculty and instructors will acquire better practices for designing multicultural course contents that speak to the diverse experiences of their students

• WMU will follow through with its commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity by implementing inclusive academic programs which reflect the diversity of WMU student population

• WMU will expand global and international learning, interdisciplinary and experiential learning opportunities for all students
